Privacy Policy — 2 Truths 1 Lie
This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application "2 Truths 1 Lie" ("the App", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use it. The App is published by The Quiz Blend ("the Publisher").
By installing or using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the game, save your progress, and keep the experience free through ads. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
2.1 Information you provide directly

You can also choose to play as a guest (anonymous), in which case none of the above is collected.

2.3 Information collected for advertising
We use Google AdMob to show advertisements. AdMob may collect:
- Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)
- IP address
- General location (country/region, derived from IP)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, completions)
You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
2.4 What we do not collect
- Phone contacts
- Photos, camera or microphone access
- Precise location (GPS)
- Browsing history outside the App
- Health, financial, or biometric data
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate you and keep your progress synced across devices
- Display in-game stats, streaks, and personalized question difficulty
- Detect and fix crashes, bugs, and performance issues
- Show advertisements that support the free version of the App
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for behavioural profiling beyond difficulty adaptation inside the game itself.
4. Who We Share Information With
We share data only with the following service providers, who help us operate the App:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your country, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Object to certain uses of your data
- Withdraw consent for advertising or analytics
To exercise any of these rights, email us at thequizblend@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within 30 days.
To delete your account:
- Email/Google sign-in users: Email us at thequizblend@gmail.com from your sign-in email address (or include it in the message body) with the subject line "Delete my account". We will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days of receiving the request and send you a confirmation when deletion is complete.
- Guest (anonymous) users: Uninstall the App to remove all local data. Anonymous server-side telemetry will be deleted automatically after 90 days of inactivity.

Region-specific rights
- EU/EEA/UK (GDPR): You have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know, delete, and opt out of "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
- India (DPDP Act): You have the right to access, correction, erasure, and grievance redressal.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA, where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below those ages.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at thequizblend@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS encryption in transit, Google Cloud's encrypted-at-rest storage, and Firebase Authentication's session management. No system is 100% secure; if you become aware of a security issue, please report it to thequizblend@gmail.com.
9. International Transfers
Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country (typically in the United States or European Union, depending on Firebase region). By using the App, you consent to these transfers. Where required by law, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the App or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Policy.
